Hello dear readers, I have been absent from my blog during the month of July. As it turns out, I needed some time to recuperate from months of intense fine art painting. Summer also brought with it many activities including a day of plein aire painting on the Master Gardener's Garden Path tour along with other painters from the county, our annual Chicken Barbeque fund raiser at church, and many chores around our property. Of all of my memories of school as a small child, all things related to books and reading and being read to are some of the richest in my treasure chest. I just completed this Christmas Stocking for our dear little Sweet Pea. This will be her official Christmas Stocking that will stay on the farm with Grandma and Grandpa.
