When my children were babies my parents tried to tell me how very different it is to be grandparents as opposed to being parents. It is cold out there, would you like to come inside for a cuppa Joe, tea, or cocoa? I'll put on a fire while you get your self settled into a nice comfortable chair. Together we'll look out the window toward the barn and the fields, with the woods off in the distance. From here I can see some of our trees, the old well pump out near the barn, and the large white expanse of snow covered lawn followed by some fifty acres of land planted this year with clover for hay. Where has the time gone; where have the leaves, the sky, the green grasses gone. It is nearly one full month to the day since I have posted. My intent is to post once per week, to treat this blog as a weekly feature and responsibility that my readers depend upon. Regardless of my best intentions, time has lapsed. Here I am, at last.
